Experienced Vet Surgeon and Experienced Vet Nurse

We are opening a brand new cat clinic with an in-house rehoming hub and spacious staff quarters. We are building a passionate, empathetic, hardworking, charity minded team to be headed by an experienced vet-and-vet-nurse duo, who will lead a growing mixed-competency team and be responsible for the daily life of the practice.
If you are committed to your profession, compassionate, understand charitable work, are comfortable working within a mixed-competency team and have a strong interest in feline medicine, we want to hear from you.
Who we are:
We are the new North London branch of an young, successful, fast-growing registered cat charity, The Catcuddles Sanctuary, currently based in South-East London. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats in need. We advocate responsible cat-guardianship, compulsory neutering of pet cats and heavily engage in community-based TNR initiatives. The North London cat clinic will be our first. We will be open to the public on a commercial basis, also servicing the needs of our cats in care across the charity.

What we require:
Experienced Vet

You are a qualified and registered veterinary surgeon with a minimum of 5 years experience in the UK/EU/Commonwealth.

You have excellent medical and surgical skills, ideally specialising in feline medicine.

You are highly motivated, pro-active and able to multi-task. Your duties will include dealing with the veterinary needs of the clinic and of the rehoming hub.

Travelling within London will be required on a weekly basis.

People management and communication skills will be a distinct advantage.
Experienced Vet Nurse

You are a qualified and registered veterinary nurse with a minimum of 5 years experience in the UK; supervisory experience will be of particular benefit.

You are highly motivated, pro-active and a good organiser - you will be required to manage the needs of the surgery and of the rehoming hub, including supervising the volunteer team.
Both positions are suitable to those able to commit fully to building a strong specialist veterinary practice as part of a fast expanding charity and are not afraid to work hard to achieve it.
